Babysitting With Ruby!

Are you looking for a babysitter in the Donlands/Pape and Danforth area? I am a grade 6 student who has just become a Red Cross Certified Babysitter. I love kids and spend time every week volunteering as a Kindie-helper (I would do it every day if I could). Right now I am looking for families who will help me get real-world experience in a safe environment, so that in a year or so I’ll be ready to babysit on my own! Get in with me now and you’ll have first dibs on my time when I’m a teen!

Why you should work with me!

• I am a Red Cross Certified Babysitter. This course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. The recently updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.
  
• I have a demonstrated love of children. I volunteer each week as a Kindie Helper and would do it every day if I could! I provide support to a child with special needs and I understand the extra patience that neurodiverse kids require.
  
• My parents are here to support me as I learn and can step in at a moment’s notice if extra support is needed.
  
• I am comfortable with pets, including dogs and cats!

Parent Helper
Are you working from home? Do you need to get some chores done uninterrupted or just want to socialize with some grown up friends? Call me! I can entertain your little ones.

Babysitting Alone
Because I am just getting started, my parents are going to help me with this, and it requires a discussion. Book a time to chat with my parents and I about your needs!

Having a party?
I can help! Need an extra set of hands to wrangle kids or help with games? Having a grown up gathering but your friends have to bring a little one? Give me a call!

Do you have pets? I can help!
I have an English Bull Terrier and he is a handful! The good news is that means I am comfortable with most dogs and I can help you care for yours. If they like to walk I can take them out or drop by for potty breaks. I can help you with other furry or feathered friends, from cats, to hamsters, birds or fish!
